And ReiserFS is a very shoddy thing and requires some fugly looking code to work. ext3 was developed by someone with more than half a brain, and in fact several someones including IBM. Hans Reiser is a dip! As for speed, I'll sacrifice that for stability. ReiserFS was installed on another machine of mine, and hte harddrive,every 15 minutes, would spin up really fast, make some harsh clicking sounds, and spool down. Switching to ext3 relieved that issue.
