If you took a fraction of what we now spend on searching for the magical cure, and instead spent it on facilities to screen blood, condoms, and a few educational brochures the literate people can explain to the illterate, I think the problem would be much better solved. Let those who choose ignorance die, and give those willing to change lifestyles a chance to prevent infection.
