The bleeding child may have HIV (you usually can't tell by looking at people) - do you still help said child or not? That's what I meant by it. According to my First Aid instructor, you watch the kid die (assuming you don't have any effective barrier methods). Sorry for the confusion! And it's examples like yours that make me wonder why people don't think that research is good. That and the fact that I believe ignorance is not good. I want to know everything. I know that's never going to happen, but I can still try, no? :)
