he's already shown numerous times that he dislikes the fact that I am more experienced in life and more clued-in than he is, and he can't stand my constant desire to tell the truth even if it's painful (and usually it would hurt me too, but that's not the point; the point is that one shouldn't lie in committees, the truth is needed if the members are going to trust each other enough to work together). He also dislikes the fact that I can actually commit to doing something and follow it through, and he resents me for being sensible and grounded enough to be in a stable relationship.
