You misremember. The Rogerborg account was deleted because I asked you to suggest ways to represent to prospective employers that the UFie staff you were laying off were different to any of the other tens (hundreds?) of thousands of middle management and extraneous creative types sloughed off in the great .com crash (in which I was also a victim, BTW). Your answer to that was to delete my account immediately, which says more about you than me. There was (IIRC) no history of trolling, and if that was my intention, I'd hardly create a synonymous account, would I?
I do tend to weigh in with criticism of the strips rather than huggy love-in comments. That you choose to view that as trollish rather than as what it is - criticism for your benefit - again speaks volumes about your security. Try and get over yourself.
The "pay for it" comment in question was (IIRC) when the strip was broken and I commented "I pay nothing for this strip, and I damn well expect to get my money's worth." Sorry if the humour was lost on you, I'll try and type more slowly in future to make it easier.
Incidentally, I am the proud owner of "Evil Genuines in a Nutshell". I don't mention that to try and buy any right to comment, just to hammer home the point that just because I don't join in the group hugs doesn't mean I don't enjoy the strip.
Finally, I'd suggest that if you can't respond well to criticism, you probably shouldn't respond at all. |
