The fact that it is most rampant in 3rd world countries is just another face of tyhe Darwinian theory of evolution, but rather instead of the strongest surviving to reproduce, the smartest (scoff) are not practicng unsafe sex, therefore furthuring the evolution of our species. Now we just need to figure out a way to make stupidity deadly. The cost of treating the disseas if of far greater cost to you than any piddling donation that you might make to help find a cure. When our government uses our tax money to aid in research/treatment its not a donation, its extortion.
