It's not really how big the battery is, but how many you use...hook'em up in parallel, which of course bumps the amps...I never said it was easy, but hey, that's what they made resistors for... But no, it will not fit in the compartment, it is best off discarded, and completely redesigned to allow for a much larger storage space....maybe I'm crazy, but that's what I call fun :)
