helldesk for a few years at a few places. Got sick of not being there to fix the problem faster so I got a desktop support job. that's just like helldesk except you get to see the people and they know where your cube is. After that I did a bunch of contract work (Y2K rollovers and such) and after getting sick of having every one of my paychecks messed up I got into networking and now I'm a Systems Admin with not the faintest idea of how to program.
