you need to invoke the ancient incantation. You can be a C/C++, Delphi MySQL guru but if you take those to an interview all you get is the "rabbit in headlights" stare. You MUST remeber to invoke the ancient incantation if you want a programming job. The beauty is you dont even need to know what it means, just say the words and you are in! The ancient incantation: "Veesyewal baysick and emmess seekwul survur"
