| So many bitter memories. Here's some more..... |

I just had to be subjected to a teacher I had earlier this year who I DON'T have for the rest of this year and next year. I made sure of this by waiting until the the teacher was selecting the teachers I would have, and sat there telling him that I didn't want Peter Yorke, not that I had anything against the guy :P
How did a lesson with Peter Yorke work? Well it went something like this....
1. He turns up 10-15mins late. After everyone has gotten their hopes up that he won't be here.
2. He sets up his gear and tells us how some people are missing but he'll start the lesson anyway without them.
3. He'd then start saying what we did last lesson when a few people would walk in.
4. After yelling at them for being late and disturbing the class he'd tell them he isn't going to start over, (NOTE: This speech would restart everytime someone walked in).
5. After everyone had finally arrived (20mins into the lesson) he'd start all over again, telling us what we did yesterday.
6. He'd then tell us what we're doing today (by this stage several people had fallen asleep)
7. He'd then tell us what we're doing tomorrow.
8. He'd then hand out notes.
9. He'd then explain the relevance of the notes to yesterday's and tomorrow's work.
10. People would start packing up cause there was 10mins till the bell (I swear, we all did this on purpose to evoke stage 11. I know I did >=D).
11. He'd tell the people to stop unpacking their work and wait till they had.
12. He'd then tell us what we're doing tomorrow seeings how no-one was working.
13. The bell would go, and some people would stand.
14. He'd keep us back JUST to wait till we all sat back down, then he'd let us go.
Now all of those things sound like the ideal time wasting teacher to me. but there were some slight problems:
1. He had TERRIBLE B.O.
2. He spat when he talk, no-one sat in the few front tables cause they were the wet zones.
3. He couldn't talk if his voice wasn't raised. |
