At least, if you ever want a chance to give AND backup your opinion to anyone. Without debating, every corporation would fall to the ground. No decisions would get made. Therefore nothing would happen. There's a time and place for everything, or else it wouldn't be here :) The trick is figuring out the time and place for it. Yes, we should listen to what the other side has to offer. But we also need to be able to defend our side when neccessary.
