Win2000 question by varikin 2002-11-11 11:38:03
I just installed win2000 on this computer, am going to install mandrake next for dual boot. I decided not to use NTFS for win2000 because apparently is poses a few problems with linux and i dont feel like messing with that.

Here comes the problem: the setup disk asked FAT or NTFS, I chose FAT of course. I was thinking M$ was just dropping the 32 but alas no! they meant FAT like that in win95.

given all that, here is what I have: a system partion with a FAT file system I would like to upgrade to FAT32, which is better, I think, can this be done easily? nothing else is on this computer but windows right now. so i can reformat if need be but too long. Oh and linux is not on here yet. want to do this before is install linux

got all that?
