One was my 8th grade physics teacher in Russia, Semion Mikhailovich. He was the only teacher I've ever seen to always wear a suit and tie. He had respect for himself and for every student. He had the best way of making himself understood. His class was just about the only one I never slept in. The other one was Dr. Liss at William Cullen Bryant High School in Woodside, NY. He taught math. He also was one I paid attention to. He got me on the math team and all was going great until the school slut accused him of offering her a passing grade for sex. What actually happened was he said he was going to flunk her and she got pissed off. Half the school wrote letters to the Board of Education in his support. He was removed from the school anyway and I don't know what happened to him. If it weren't for that, I might've kept up my interest in math...
