ifconfig & multiple IPs... by myke2002-11-11 06:41:25
What exactly are you trying to do? by migiizis2002-11-11 06:47:07
Take over the world. Duh. by myke 2002-11-11 07:01:37
One IP at a time.

So I'm extrapolating:

ifconfig eth0:1 plumb
ifconfig eth0:1 inet 10.100.36.1 up broadcast
ifconfig eth0:2 inet 10.100.104.1 up broadcast

?

- I'm remotely administrating a new server on a live LAN one which the machine I'm using is the gateway... and the new server happens to be on a different subnet. (rest of the machines are Winblows boites)

Later on tho I'll have multiple IPs on my PPP connection...
