Unfortunately, I knew a significant amount of native american history. It was in vogue then to call Custer's Folly a massacre instead of a battle and wounded knee a battle instead of a massacre. On the tests, I would answer what the book wanted, then write why this is wrong, and the answer from the Native American point of view. I barely passed that class. And I earned his undying hatred.
