she'd see them swarm me on the playground and let them have a good go at me before she told them to stop. Then when they did she assumed I started it.(even if she knew otherwise) Then I got sent to the office. I learned eventually that if they pick on me and I fight to keep an ear open for approaching staff. Then go limp and let them catch the other guy hitting me. After awhile the kids individually learned fighting me I'd win or they'd get hell... So they went back to swarming then around grade 6 or 7 they finally knocked it off. But in below when I mention about the residential school I could of been sent to. It had potential for much worse. I knew a girl that went there and she got sterilized and a partial frontal labotomy or whatever. She had the scar on her head and she said they took a peice out so she'd not be so angry and that she couldn't have baby's they said. She was moderately mentally handicaped. I'd never seen her go nasty. She had a doll she liked to care for and monkeys records as she was facinated with them. She was a few years older than me when I met her. Forget her exact age. But she said if people get bad at the school they'd get medicine or tied up or even zapped.(shock therapy) This sort of thing went on I think til early 80's... now they can't do that anymore as far as I know. But at the time in one sense I didn't care I had some curiosity what others that were diffrent like me and her were like... and figured at least they'd not be mean as the "normal" kids were.(I also should note I got into fights defending one kid that had epilepsy who also was aloud into the regular school I was at... kids picked on him and called him possessed and things)
