I'm still alive ;) by lord_dolphin 2002-11-11 00:25:54
Hey all, I havn't posted on here for a couple of months now I think, so I figured I should drop a quick line and let people who noticed my old posts know that I'm still alive :) Basically, I've been VERY busy, and havn't had much time for posting comments in here (I almost didn't have time to read this comic daily...but I managed somehow, you have to have priorities you know LOL!) Basically, (for those who remember) remember that CD/DVD media store I raved about, and some people thought I was doing some sort of advertisement for them. Well, long story short, I liked the store so much I applied for a job, and now I work there full time! And I've never been happier! It's like a dream job, I spend my free time researching new media, new formats, and CD/DVD writers, writing small articles to be posted for our customers, and doing massive amounts of tech support for the CD Burning Population. The best perk is that I can truly fuel my personal CD burning habit, which is back up to the healthy amount of 100-150 CDs per month (YAY!). Plus I get to play with lot's of new media technologies (i.e. 8cm DVD-Rs, 99min CD-Rs, and 24x CD-RWs!). So if I'm not around much, it's because i'm doing what I love most: helping people and playing with tech-toys! (But I still lurk).

P.S. I'll try to post more :)
