regarding the other incident mentioned/teacher... that was the '70's and integration of special needs kids wasn't done til after 81... so kids prior to 81 their parents were told to put them in a residential school in New Westminster or like schools. My parents refused to do that. Their view was I was smarter than most kids there and not violent/emotionally disturbed either and that was the main populous of kids there or high physical need. So they felt I didn't belong and while I wasn't like regular kids I shouldn't be with those other ones.
