Mr. Hooper... he made a point of saying he hated band students and would be hard on us but that he liked sports students and would give them breaks. Then later on he failed me.(I had gotten prior in years of french c+ in grade 4 and 8)... anyways to give you an example of what this guy was like. One day he gave us a thing to do all in french of course. So were the instructions and stuff. Well he asked what we were to do. Nobody knew but I did think I knew. Having a phobia on public speaking and not really wanting to be singled out I very nervously raised my hand. With some amusment he said fine then do it. I think he was suprised when I did it right. He asked everyone if they knew what was to be done after that. They still didn't know so he told me to do it again. He said I was correct again(it was an exercise changing the "persons" and tense). Anyways on the 3rd try they finally got it and of corse he zero'd in on his prime athletes. It wasn't the only time I figured things out. But I had pronouncation issues so despite how hard I tried that combined with being in band he failed me.(and btw my mom thinks alot of the teachers at my school were wacky. One blew his head off, the principle got it on with one of the teachers and knocked her up, two other teachers had something going on, another would walk around with a beanie on his head, etc...)
