when we Carpe Diem too much to avoid our current list of regrets. Really, it's quite silly to change your life in order to avoid regrets, because you will probably burn up all your resources early and be homeless for the next 40 years of your life.

It's nice to make _some_ changes if you're too conservative, but those same sappy Smell The Roses missives that circulate about once a month never say anything about moderation. They always just prey on your fears of opportunities lost.

I think they are spam - cleverly designed to convince people to spend money because "you never know when you'll wish you had".
