Why couldn't I see it before? The answer is to make everything free! Yeah, who needs professional teams working on games? I'm sure Quake, Starcraft, Everquest, and Half Life would be just as great if they were made by part time programers who didn't need the money.

Heck, these lazy bastards should quit there jobs and make games full time. I'm sure they'll come up with food somehow, there is always some laying around in urban areas. Better yet, they could sell themselves for medical research! Surely that wouldn't get in the way of producing games, and they would have money to live on.

Wait wait, I've got it! A revolutionary Idea! They could-- get this now-- sell the games they are spending so much time on so they can make money! Then they could make great games full time, and we could play those great games. Amazing huh? They provide games, we pay to play them. They make the games, we pay to play them. Why didn't someone think of this brilliant plan earlier? Oh, wait...
