My mum made be go and get my school bag I'd left somewhere as soon as I woke up - well before I was ready to. I never have been good at mornings. I fell off when my front wheel discovered a black drainage grille in the car park I was driving through, (just across the road from my house) - with the hole underneath painted black, in the black road surface. It was completely invisible to my 95%-plus closed eyes... A complete stranger picked me up and took me to hospital, where they managed to scrub most of the embedded gravel out of the hole above my lip/beside my nose. I didn't pick up the bag until a bit later.
