you have to tell LILO that the other OS, Windows, is there. Add a line like this to your lilo.conf: other=/dev/hda1 label=windows You might have to change hda1 to match the right partiton where windows is located. next run /sbin/lilo as root. When you reboot you can choose which OS to boot into at the LILO: prompt by typing the label in. It will default to Linux after 30 sec.
