HTML Editor question by gaygeek2002-11-04 14:45:31

this thread: Does anyone know of (or have) a Perl program that can modify HTML code from say upper-case to lower-case (and perhaps make minor changes to some other bits of code). I've written a glorified sed script (wrapped into a Perl program) to do it, but I've had to hardcode all of the HTML that needs to be changed and I'd rather not do that if I can avoid it. Also, I'm working on trying to get it to change an entire directory's worth of files. Reason I'm playing with this is that I've got a ton of HTML files that I need to convert and would rather not do them all by hand. I can covert all the code in one file at a time, but I want to simply be able to issue the command with a wildcard on the commandline and let it go and change everything at once (if possible).
