It has to be a Monday by stargirl2002-11-04 09:57:01
My bad day is continuing from Thursday... by DireEyez 2002-11-04 16:57:43
as if it wasn't bad enough that all last week I was feeling like it was a normal week and I was supposed to go in on Thursday, so that I really wasn't relaxing like the vacation I was supposed to be on (off from a week ago Sunday am til this week thursday). Thursday night, 6:30pm, half an hour after I woul dnormally be at work, I get a call from work, from the guy that works the first half of the week and is covering for me. He has to leave town the following week due to a death in the family and can I cover for him. OK, not his fault, vacation's cut short 3 days. Realized I'd rather have the 11 days than the 7-8 days so I call back and tell him I'll work Fri and Sat as normal, but I'll take Thursday as a sick day as he's already there (and I'd been up all day, not good considerin gI'd be at work 13 hours)...everything's fine and dandy, then 2 hours after hanging up the phone I get a cold from out of nowhere...sinuses clogged, sneezing like crazy, fever, feel like passing out. Stayed awake a few hours..then slept it off a bit. Long story short, work hasn't been fun, I'm still sick (it moved to my stomach, then chest...i expect to feel it in muscles and bones one of these days) I didn't get time off, and I'm working 6 13 hour days this week to cover for the guy who had to go out of town.

Worst part of all of this is I NEED the time out, I'm getting irritated and burnt out...gotta wait for early December now.
