...I actually mean "an hour and a half sucking everyone's exhaust fumes". That 30-mile trip has actually taken as long as two and a half hours on a few occasions. Chicago's Tri-State Tollway becomes a three- and four-lane parking lot from 6:30-8:30am and again from 4:30 to around 6:30pm. Motorists have actually taken to pulling their cars off to the side and relieving themselves on the shoulder. _{Of course, I used to walk it... uphill... both ways... in six feet of snow...}
