we have 3 main types of computers at this school
ats's, ast's, and dtk's
the ats's are usually new computers, they usually run pretty nicely
ast's are crappy olf p2 systems that detest being networked
and dtk's are nice little old computers that i really actually kind of like even though they are old and slow
they work
buuuuut, their psu's seem to have a set lifespan
and my work comp happens to be a dtk
and its psu is in the throws of death
and also we have no more dtk power supplies
and also i found another dtk- in a lab, just a few min ago with a dead psu
i just know my boss is going to have me take my psu and put it in there... even though i will explain to him that the psu is a mere few days away from the grave
he doesnt like ordering new ones
he never has hordered any new ones
i know that in the end, im gonna wind up with a crappy ast
wanting someone to rant to
but no means to do so |
