1) Risk is part of any worthwhile endeavor. 2) Motorcycles are minions of the god natural selection. If you are stupid, the bike will know and it will kill you. 3) Other people are stupid, you have to be smarter to compensate. 4) It's better than dying slowly in bed. The utter freedom I feel when on the bike makes me enjoy life just a little bit more. Its a more than fair tradeoff.
