Miniver Cheevy, child of scorn
Grew lean as he assailed the seasons
He wept that he was ever born
And he had reasons.

I used to know almost the whole poem, we read it back in 10th grade and it was one my teacher really enjoyed and I did too (one of my favorite teachers, she's really cool).
