Just went out on a date Saturday night, with a girl I really like and have been talking/flirting with for quite a while. Seemd like she was interested in me too. Finally worked up the courage to ask her if she wanted to get together and do something Sat night. She says why not (to my deep relief). So we go, with one of her girl friends and one of my guy friends to dinner and a movie (her choice - she wanted to see a certain movie that we didn't even end up seeing). I thought it went ok, but then afterwards when I got home and was talking with her on AIM (she goes to school about an hour away) she gave me the whole "I like you as a friend, just not in 'that way'" thing. Second time I've gotten that in the past few monthes, from the only 2 girls I was seriosuly interested in since I broke up with my ex back in March. Sigh...it's the curse of the "too-nice" guy - everyone wants to be your friend but no one wants more than that. But I do thank you for the compliment, I just wish more girls around here felt the same way :-) \|·Þ
