That would work if they were in the office and the laptop was part of the domain, but it's not - they're both out of the office, and part of a workgroup when this becomes an issue. I don't see any need to load 2000 Server onto all of the new laptops we order and bother setting them up to run their own domain when they're out in the field, and doing that sounds like a logistical nightmare the first time two 2000 users go on a job together.

Linux? Are you kidding me? Not in my office, bub. ;)
