What kind of database admin... by borg3892002-11-04 06:52:57
  A simple answer... by dexter1812002-11-04 06:56:59
    She's not an MSDBA by borg389 2002-11-04 07:04:01
I think she's taken one class. It was two months ago. She's been the dba for several years here.

She's never even done coding for it. She used to do cobol programming here years ago. No idea why she was given the job.

Last week, she ran the upgrade on a dev box. We told her what didn't work and what to fix. (userids and permissions) She KNEW what wasn't going to work. Yesterday, she ran the upgrade on the LIVE server, and didn't freaking bother reading the user ids, passwords, or permissions first. Didn't bother testing that anything matched afterward.

I just want to whack her with a LART. I've got more sql skills in my little finger...etc.
