How is DNS set up? by DireEyez2002-11-02 18:35:14
                        Yep by Kickstart 2002-11-02 18:41:51
Here's the setup:

Webserver on external IP for a few domains, including gadgeteer.net and geekly.com.

The difference between the two is that gadgeteer.net's DNS is mirrored by the ones at paralynx.com. Geekly.com's DNS is only on this box, the same box as the webserver.

What I'm assuming then is that:
1. I can't access my outside IP from inside the box without adding something to /etc/hosts or changing my DNS settings
2. No one outside is able to access my internal DNS server even though port 53(UDP and TCP) is port forwarded to the internal box.

Sound about right?
