Seriusly, though. Navy has a lot of the niftiest technology, you get to travel (if you are on a ship) and it's hard to beat the romance of the sea factor.
Also, it's a sort of a family tradition. My father is a sailor in merchant marine, my first stepfather was a navy aviation instrument tech, my current stepfather was an electronics tech on a communications station.
My second choice would be field artillery. Hard to beat the fun of firing a large gun, plus my grandfather was in artillery recon in WWII. |
