After an infusion of caffeine, I spent part of my day wandering around Fry's looking around at printers and scanners and video cards oh my!, looking for Terry Pratchett books at Half Price Books (none to be found, ended up with a Gaiman paperback, though), and got a call to run down to my ISP and get the mail server up back up and running, because my friend was in Dallas for the day. Hooray! I get my first official check! (sorry, I've been a geek wannabe for so long, and finally getting paid to do something on the server (and not just billing), even if it maybe wasn't a big deal, well, doesn't take much to make me happy!)
Come to think of it, I can use the check toward the video card I was looking at!!! :-D Woo-hoo!!! |
