Posting to userfriendly is proof enough that you are conscious and not dead. :-) If you suspect someone has a heart attack, first you check if he is conscious (talk to him, see if he reacts; if not, give him some pain stimulus: squeeze the muscle on the top of the shoulder - Monk's cap muscle? - or press hard on one of his nails). If there is no reaction, then you know the person is unconscious: check his pulse (best done at the neck, as that's closest to the heart and head). If no pulse: start heart massage and breathing.
