I think on their album Duke: You kill what you fear and you fear what you don't understand. Sounds true, though that doesn't make it a good idea to live by that reasoning. For example, a lot of people are afraid of sharks; they therefore hate them and want to kill them. Only a few dozen people yearly are killed I think due to shark attacks, so the fear is quite irrational or at least not proportional. If you learn to understand sharks, you wouldn't fear them anymore. At most (and at least) you would/should respect them. But you said: we hate what we fear and that is often true. Turns on TV. Watches daily shark film at Discovery or National Geographic Channel
