Ahh I also do needle point and knitting by Arienadean 2002-11-01 15:01:01
not done any satin stich for awhile and my sons bugging me to finish his Ra cross stich for his wall(yea I have a book of egyptian counted cross stich patterns... and one of celtic). I can't use wool though due to an allergy though my mom once knit me a indian wool jacket.(forget what happened to it actually) Crafts wise here though I'm knitting chromatix and afgan which my daughter cuddled me during making and my son so he'll have a bit of here and memories to snuggle up to when it's complete. I also have two ceramic houses to finish painting.(one is a train station and another a colonial house) Oh and I've got two models to do(f14 tomcat and a countache). I need though to better organize my cross stich stuff. I have a ton of aida cloth though not as much thread. My mom bought a bunch bulk in the US then gave up on doing it due to her eyes(bi focals) and arthritis.(I have serious arthritis in my hands I'm just more stubborn and will still try to do various things only I wear splints if they bug me)

Btw the chinese pattern I have has matching pants. So I could make a pant suit I just like the dress portion of it mainly. I'd like someday though to make a sari as I like those. Not sure where I'd wear one but I think alot of them look beautiful.(I have a thing for ethnic and historical clothing styles)
