I *love* those, and they always look good. I should really get a pattern. I've always wanted to make a jeans jacket out of velveteen, or a motorcycle-style jacket out of a fancy wool herringbone, some sort of funky juxtaposition of form and function. I'm currently working on an idea for cutting leaf-shapes out of black denim, blanket-stitching the edges and embroidering the leaf ribs, then crocheting them together to make a lacy cloth. The denim is washed and dried, now to cut them all out! I still don't know what I want to do with them, but the embroidery will take a good long while, so it's not a rush.
