My mom used to sew crests for various sports teams. I forget the name of the company but she has a tin of spare vintage crests at her house.(old cookie tin from the 1930's-1940's) My grandmother was also a chocolateer though had also done the crests for awhile with my mom. Anyways they made well sure I was trained in domestic things(cooking, crafts, arts, sewing, etc)

Lace looks pretty when all sewn, bit of a pain to sew with some machines though depending on the presser foot. Which reminds me I have a few meters of velveteen to make into a dress in my closet. I was going to make a low cut gown but also have patterns for a chinese dress(I like the long slit down the side and turtleneck look of them) and also those middle ages patterns... though now don't really sca anymore and maybe I'm silly but when actually in the mood I'm weird I probably would just wear it around the house and go what the heck.(or if chromatix was here wear it for a romantic themed dinner for two)

With jeans my last crafty attempt was to make a peace rose on the back of one. Using metalic lined seed beads and following a cross stich pattern. It looked rather nice but actually took longer/was more time consuming than working something on my giant bead loom. Btw seed beads/bead tapistries were originally used by the romans I think as stained glass windows. I just like making the pictures from beads or bookmarks... visual stimmie of sorts and feels neat.
