niether is canadian by Arienadean 2002-11-01 14:23:43
we are taught 3 types of english in school. Canadian, Queens, and American. We are told we need american for business and thought they spell diffrent it is acceptable usage still. We got taught Queens for legal stuff and things as it is a more formal english. Canadian english is a hybrid of british and french spellings so not all our words are the same as the english used in the UK nor the phrasings... Also due to closeness in physical proximity americanisms and such have gotten into our culture so our culture has hybrid language that is a mix of canadian english and american... though we still have britishisms and frenchisms.
