me how when young. I have a sewing machine that does 22 diffrent stiches I believe and auto buttonholes. Not that I've sewn lately. Washing wise I do it every few days but there are 3 people I'm doing laundry for. However if my pants aren't visibly dirty or I know I've got nothing on them I'll wear the same pair for a few days.(something my mom kind of taught me... because when she finally got me more willing to change cloths she thought I was doing way to much changing so got on my case the other way as a kid) I do change shirts and underwear every day. But if I've not gone outside much at all and really only wore my socks for say an hour and they look clean and still haven't hit the hamper I may quickly slide them back on to go do something else. Then they go to the hamper. I do have I guess 3 outfits I'll wear around the house if I'm not well and planning on not going anywhere at all the whole day/week. And for those I snif test if they get lively they get washed and if they get dirty they get washed.(usually only wear them for 3-4 days at most<shrug>) Nobody see's them really but me or my roommate.(as I am introverted and reclusive... also not very social offline.) With things that are drycleaned I try to avoid wearing them much because it is a hassle to get them cleaned. But usually they are formal wear so live most their life in my closet. /me needs to sew a middle ages night gown... I have a pattern for this saxon one that looks very comfy and kinda romantic. :)
