The "I Need A Drink" Thread by mcnutcase2002-11-01 12:37:51
Do I really need an excuse? by Arienadean 2002-11-01 14:02:10
if so pain and depression at points would cover it(Just had a night full of nightmares again<sigh> and nobody near to cuddle me better... add in still sore from my reaction to cold lastnight)

But I *can't* drink. I have a rare problem with my liver that has my enzimes elivated. I don't technically have liver disease I don't think but like them I was warned I can't ever drink again or I'd would get ill very easy. Odd thing is I never drank much anyways and we found out my liver was off when searching for what was causing me horrible pain in that area(turned out to be gallstones which they wont operate on til I'm blocked bad). Anyways I like the taste of booze I'd even go without the alcohol but I can't get any... :( Not sure I'm aloud dealcoholized ciders(which I do like and growers cider sells) however now I wonder simply every time I drink a neocitran(hot cold medicine as it warns people with liver issues shouldn't drink it)... ack I guess next time I'm into the doc I'll have to ask... but waaa I miss my once every 3-4 month drink.(I drink about one day every 4 months aprox 3-4 drinks... so not much a year at all)
