Tennis shoes for general wearing. Cross-trainers for jogging or wearing to the gym. Old tennis shoes for playing or working especially hard. Black dress shoes for when you really need to look spiffy. Dress shoes of another color for when you need to look spiffy, but don't want to overdo it. Sandals for when you're not going anywhere, but don't want to go shoeless. Tevas for when you know your shoes are going to get wet.
