...is mandatory reading for any SF fan. My favourites of his works are Starship Troopers, Tunnel in the Sky, Space Cadet, Stranger in a Strange Land, The Door into Summer, and The Moon is a Harsh Mistress. I do, however, warn you to stay away from Number of the Beast. It was, IMO, his worst work, and I found the writing to actually be annoying.
