MySql: record exists by mikosullivan 2002-11-01 10:57:10
A question for the MySql 'rus: what's the most effective way to check if a record simply exists? Let's say I have a table called patients with a primary key of pat_pk. What's the most efficient way to find out if a record with primary key of, say, 1000 exists?
