The fact that there were only about 15 kids tops kind of contributed.

I think next year we're going to see if our son will want to invite friends from school (grade 6 at that point)to trick-or-treat in our neighbourhood as a group, followed by a Halloween party back at our house.

And... I think we'll have to put out some roadside decorations next year to attract people to our complex (it's kind of hidden about 100 feet from the corner) because people don't seem to find us.

It's kind of sad, imho. I've always thought Halloween is a great time for kids to do something different, even strange, without their peers making <mean> fun of them. Dangit, I *want* more kids out candy-hunting!
