I generally like computers, and I'm relatively literate with them, at least as far as desktop-customization goes. Nonetheless, I wouldn't call myslef a computer geek. Anthing code-related terrifies me; someone tried to explain HTML to me several days ago on this board, and I'd just rather not bother. I use Windoze, and I hate it, but I probably won't defect to something good. I eat healthy (mmm, baaaageeeel). I want a PDA so I can play Tetris on it.
However, I do fit the engineer profile nicely. What stood out to me the most in The Fast and the Furious was the screwed-up accelerative dynamics. I like taking things apart and figuring out how they work as much as I like using them. I'd rather watch Junkyard Wars than Star Trek. And yes, I can't help but wonder why Illiad would give Erwin's battlemech guns with enough power to keep Stef and a dumpster airborne and not see that that much recoil would knock his Lego arms to pieces.
