| Back from The MasqueRage at the Plaza of Nations in Vancouver. Great music, drinks were cheap, and the best part was that the creativity that went into some of the costumes was amazing. Sponge Bob was there, as were Mike Wazowski, a faerie from a Midsummer Night's Dream, Scooby Doo, a japanimation robot, an incredible bat creature, an Uruk-Hai, and (I kid you not) a plethora of nurses, schoolgirls and angels wearing, erm, dramatically short and diaphanous clothing. Heh. I noticed that, whereas my gf noticed the half-dozen Naval Aviators dressed in Navy Whites. It was all good.
Got the makeup off my face, and now I'm going to bed. Photos up in a few days. A safe and Happy Samhain everyone! |
