Has anyone else noticed that in Lord of the Rings, all the human men seem to have short beards? I guess that's to make it easier to distinguish them from elves, all of which have long, straight hair and are clean-shaven. (Speaking of which, in order to preserve the little bit of sanity I have left, I'm considering putting myself in cryogenic suspension until December 18. Anyone know where I can get that done?)
